Dr Harrison Burgin is an Applied Research Fellow in the Faculty of Health Science, Community and Social Studies. Harrison's main research areas are concerned with health care education, gamification, improving nursing education, and disability education. In particular, his recent research focuses on the use of ways to engage learners to produce better prepared students who have developed their transferable skills and learned the key competencies of their qualification.
Harrison received a PhD from Deakin University, and completed a Bachelor of Science, and Honours, at Monash University. During his PhD, Harrison completed an Associate Fellowship of Higher Education, in recognition of his contributions towards improving education. Harrison has also completed a post-doctoral position at Monash University, before making a change to focus on translatable and applied research at Holmesglen institute. |
